"We loved every thing and every minute about being here. Freddie [Mr. Ferguson, the caretaker] was so helpful, from his first warm smile when he was there to meet us at the airport to his quick response when our car broke down at Receiver's Beach and he came as soon as we called with another. Of course, if he didn't come we might still be there which would be okay too! But, seriously, the house is fantastic, and never have we imagined a place where we could watch the sun rise and set out of the sea from the same beautiful spot! Incredible! "My favorite memory? Let me think... Lying in the hammock under the big trees in the garden so grandpa could read to me was lovely. Then there are the stars every night. I've never seen so many ever anywhere! I've never seen the whole Milky Way before! But I guess the best was walking down to the beach and choosing a different one each time. Oh, and the bed was very comfy.

"We thought we might want to be at a house right on a beach, but here we come back from the beach where it's HOT and here at the house we have swaying palms for shade and there is always a cooling breeze! Since the beaches are so close anyway, this is way better!

"The house is perfect! No matter how hot it is or what time of day, there is always shade somewhere. And we loved that all of the bedrooms have windows on at least two sides so the breezes waft through and cool them off. Our bedroom has them on three sides! I am a designer so I appreciate that kind of attention to detail in a home. The natural stonework is another lovely feature and the high ceilings in every room help keep it cool!
